Introduction:
Novo 2161 is a blend of medium viscosity of Dimethicone with a cross-link trimethylsiloxysilicate resin. It is a composition for use in cosmetic and personal care applications such as skin care, color cosmetics, sun care and hair care.
Active & Mechanism:
It is a “film forming agent” and promotes water repellency and provides long lasting emolliency. It imparts good adhesion of actives and facilitates spreading of the formulation ingredients. It forms a water resistant, breathable protective barrier without negative tacky feel. In hair care acts as a volumizer for thin hair and contributes to styling.
